Features
Fast continuous shooting with AF/AE at up to 11fps3
Capture fast-moving action with continuous shooting at up to 11fps3 with after-view or 8fps3 for live-view. Fast internal processing and high-capacity buffer memory help capture up to around 116 JPEG (Standard) or 46 compressed RAW shots in one continuous burst.

Accurate eye recognition
Enhanced Real-time Eye AF2 reliably recognises human faces and focuses precisely on a person's eyes. When AF-C is set, Real-time Eye AF2 maintains stable focus on moving subjects even when part of the face is hidden, backlit or facing downwards.

Cleaner images even in dim light
Improved noise suppression provides cleaner image quality in dark scenes where high-sensitivity shooting is required. Native ISO sensitivity reaches ISO 32000, with expanded ISO sensitivity up to ISO 102400 for stills.

Create time-lapse movies
Interval shooting allows continuous shooting with a pause of 1–60 seconds between still shots. The captured images can then be used to create time-lapse movies on a PC using the Viewer app from the Imaging Edge desktop applications.

Touch Tracking turns on Real-time Tracking at any time
Touch Tracking lets you touch the monitor to activate Real-time Tracking for stills or movies. The camera locks onto the target subject and keeps it in constant focus.
