Fast 20fps continuous shooting with highly accurate AF/AE tracking

The newly developed image sensor enables continuous shooting at up to 20fps. The camera performs AF/AE calculations up to 60 times per second while tracking moving subjects.

Broad AF coverage and fast AF speed

The RX100 VII features 357 focal-plane phase-detection AF points covering 68% of the frame, complemented by 425 contrast-detection AF points. AF acquisition is achieved in 0.02 seconds.

Real-time Eye AF for both stills and movies

Real-time Eye AF detects human eyes and maintains focus as the subject moves. You can also select either the left or right eye of your subject.

Excellent colour and texture reproduction

The newly developed image sensor and image-processing algorithms provide realistic textures and colours. Human skin tones are reproduced naturally, while vivid flower colours are reproduced more accurately.

Enhanced image stabilisation during 4K movie recording

Active Mode image stabilisation helps capture smooth 4K video while walking. Additional movie editing is available through the Imaging Edge Movie Edit add-on app for smoother, gimbal-like stabilisation.
