ZEISS Loxia 2.4/25

The ZEISS Loxia 2.4/25 is a 25mm full-frame lens designed for Sony E-Mount mirrorless Alpha cameras. Its Distagon optical design provides consistent correction to the corners and very low field curvature. With an f/2.4–f/22 aperture range and precise manual focusing, it offers detailed control over the image plane. Precise Manual Focus

The ZEISS Loxia 2.4/25 provides precise manual focusing through its large rotation angle and smooth, high-quality focusing mechanism. Precise engraving in meters and feet, along with the depth of focus scale, provides additional support for manual focusing.

DeClick Feature

The DeClick feature allows the aperture's locking mechanism to be disengaged using the supplied tool and adjustment screw on the bayonet surface. For video applications, this enables smooth aperture adjustments to help eliminate unwanted differences in brightness while panning the camera.

Virtually Distortion-Free Optics

The lens uses an elaborate optical design to largely compensate for distortion. This helps straight lines away from the image center retain their intended appearance and supports dramatic perspectives and different image-angle compositions.

High-grade Full-Metal Casing

The lens features a precision-engineered full-metal casing, metal focus and aperture rings, and a tough front bayonet and filter screw. A special sealing ring on the bayonet also protects the interface between the camera and lens.

Immensely Compatible

The ZEISS Loxia lenses are designed for mirrorless Sony Alpha cameras with E-mount and optimized for sensors up to full 35 mm format (24 x 36 mm). The aperture is controlled manually, allowing integration of the DeClick feature of the mechanical aperture ring. The cameras support automatic exposure control (A) and manual exposure control (M).
